new thoughts

well I've worked on my autumn scarf some more. man am I am a lazy bitch. haha. um. well I saw this topic on craftster and i HAVE got to make that. it's so beatiful. And here's the pattern except the I like the yarn the girl used on craftster. or well, something like that. It looks better on craftster then on the lana grossa site. so I'm going to have to find some good yarn subs. and the instructions kind of suck, i'll have to rewrite them to my liking. but I do that with every pattern lol!

I've also been thinking about entering in the amigurimi challenge on craftster. but the prizes kind of suck. I'd only do it for the free yarn. the pattern site, I didn't see anything I really liked. or, well anything I'd actually make.

and I'm also thinking about doing some swaps. Im interested in the adult swap rnd. 2. but the only things I'd come up with are stupid things like pin-ups. but there's a pinup swap. so it'd be pointless.

im really just waiting for a job with carle clinic to come through, so i can start buying things. but its not going to help me to have time to make things! ahh. i have a problem. but i need a job. like. im so bored.

ok well i looked at a bigger pic or that shrug, maybe that yarns not so bad. but haha. im sure its expensive. and like they even have it in the us anyway.

well, i guess that's about it.. yay.

its been awhile.

ok so I like totally forgot I had this thing.. haha. thats how bad I am about craft blogs. I usually just use my myspace. anyway I have been crafting, I added lots of stuff to my etsy. (my etsy) I really like the new etsy by the way! But a lot of my pics havnt shown up yet. and I dont think I have them anymore so I hope they fix them soon otherwise I dunno what I'm going to do. I'll have to take pics of everything again. that would totally SUCK. Ive started a few other scarves since Ive made the blue one on my etsy, too. Ones red and really soft and fuzzy. But I think I need to restart it, the tension is terrible. It's crochet.. and I was more of practicing then paying attention. Unless someone wants a scarf that is thin in some places and wider in others. haha. its not that in increasing or decreasing, I'm not. I'm just pulling tighter and looser. lol. I'm weird. And another scarf I started is a blue, purple, and white scarf out of some acrylic. but its really wide and has random stripes.. so I really like it and want to keep it for myself. But all my winter coats dont match it. so maybe I will sell it. but it will be awhile until i finish it. I tend to start one project and then start another. I'm terrible. My last scarf is with caron simply soft with some pretty variegated yarn in autumn colors. It's got green, blue, purple, gold, and red. Maybe some pics would be helpful. Lemme find my camera. I think that anyone (if anyone?) that reads this deserves to see some pics. OK I found it. Heres some pics.

heres a progress pic of my razor cami. its about 10" long. i was first hopin to have it done but the 21st for school startin, then i figured thats not happening so now im hoping to have it done by my bday. thats the 29th. that buys me another week. :-) i should be done. just gotta make sure i work on it this weekend.







in other knitting news, i checked out this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1883010330/103-9035267-8244600?v=glance&n=283155) book from the library. it has some really nice cables. im going to make copies and then return it so i can use them in this top in designing. i cant believe that book costs so much! my gosh! good thing theres libraries :) so what im designing.. is a tube top. im gonna knit it in the round, but make holes going down the sides of your body so u can put ribbon in to have it appear that it is laced up. then next to the ribbon there will be cables (a specific one from the book above im looking at) and then probably a fancy cable in the middle going between the boobs. im not sure what the do between that. maybe some ribbing? im not sure yet. i might even make straps. like with ribbons? or that might look stupid. im not 100% sure what i want to do yet. i need to fix my razor cami and make my boyfriend superman hat first. i hope that works out good. i really wanna try some fair isle sometime. after looking at ohmystars stuff on crafster.. im inspired. well better go knit!

razor cami and patterns

hey yall. ive been getting along on my razor cami. heres a pic.

i ordered ms. marigold and rogue friday. dont tell anybody.. im not supposed to buy yarn.. wait, thats not yarn.. hm. so ive got the patterns but i think it'll be awhile b4 i get the yarn and such. gotta finish my razor cami. wow this thing takes a while to upload pics. hmph. ok. well. i wanna make my bf a hat with a superman emblem on it. heres the thead i started over at craftster. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=111874.0 so i think im going to go with duplicate stitch. cuz i can make any hat i want. and then embroider over. it will work out good i think. oh and excuse the round of garter stitch from my razor cami. i was having color changing issues and knitted the wrong way. :-/ didnt wanna frog a whole row.. thats 168 stitches. and since its at the bottom u cant tell. and also its like right b4 i started the lace pattern.. so. whatever. hey if u cant see the garted stitch row, even better! but there's one there.
uhh what else to say? hm. not much.

my first blog! (but, not really...)

well its not exactly my very first blog.. i have a myspace which i visit frequently, and a website.. not so frequently. but. anyway. not that i really do that much crafting.. i mainly just search around (mainly craftster.org) at other people stuff.. instead of actually crafting myself. i know, im horrible. lol. :-) ok. well what to say? ive been workin on http://ohmystars.net/craft/knitting/prazorcami.html.. i really like that pattern. but ive heard that the strap seem to be too far apart.. we'll just see when I get there. im like on row.. 2. haha. i also really wanna make this!!!!!! ...http://www.girlfromauntie.com/patterns/shop/rogue/detail.php. there are better pics on craftster. the color its made of is so blaaaah i think i wanna use knitpicks.. something or other. im thinking a dark red. for a little red riding hood kinda look. :-) well.. uh, maybe i should work on my razor cami.. my boyfriends been giving me heck about it.. ok. bye yall.
