Moss Stitch Coaster Pattern

Here is a pattern for a coaster I whipped up last night.. wanted to try a new stitch and moss stitch looked pretty cool. THIS IS MY FIRST PATTERN!! woo hoo

Pattern: chain 21 stitches to begin Foundation Row: Sc in 3rd ch from hook. * ch 1, skip next ch, sc in next ch *. Repeat from * to * across. Ch 2 (counts as turning chain and first chain 1). Turn. Pattern Row : Skip first sc, * sc in ch 1 space, ch 1, skip next sc *. Repeat from * to * across. End with sc in ch 2 of previous row. Ch 2. Turn. repeat pattern row until piece is square. I stitched about 13 rows. Next: Without cutting yarn, start the stitch around the whole coaster.: 3 sc in 1 st, chain next 2 st, 3 sc in 1 st, etc until you have gone around the whole coaster. When you come back around to where you started, finish and weave in loose end! Voila! very simple and cute. :)
